Any river to cross
dbdumonteil15 May 2016
A young executive gets lost on an orienteering day ;this modern young man ,with good prospects winds up in front of a river he cannot cross, because there is no bridge ;he tries his cellphone but his wife has other fish to fry (a desperate housewife ,she tells him so) and he has got nobody to rely on.

Up come a native (how absurd! we are supposed to be in France ) who looks as if he were out of a (primitive?) tribe in Africa ;the young Turk does not ask himself any question of this unlikely meeting :after all,he is clever ,educated,on the rise, and this poor lad must be naive :can he even speak French,as anybody should ?

Joined by other members of the tribe ,who warn the man so sure of himself against the quicksands (?),willy-nilly,the young executive will make a deal .

It might be a rather elaborate joke (or not).Eventually ,anthropology does concern the "civilized" subject.
