Very moving film

Are there any intelligent homosexuals out there? Men who do not think the old cliches still work, and that same -sex cinema can break new ground? This is a perfectly made film, which in a kind of mosaic form portrays two straight-acting guys who love, pull apart, then make an attempt to discover each other again. It has moments of gay sex, but fleeting, and there is no nudity as such. In today's market this is a feat and yet as I watched it I thought this has been around for a few years now and pitifully few have seen it. Maybe it is not 'gay' enough, which once more shows up our (this is for homosexual viewers and interested straights) superficiality. I thought of Rafelson's 'Five Easy Pieces'. It is that good. Come on. You might like it. You might review it.

Two twenty somethings discover truths about themselves with their city & country friends.

Warning: Spoilers
Excellent narrative film that truly captures "youth" and all its confusion, silliness, pain, discovery, experimentation and passion. Has it been *that* long since *my* youth? Not after seeing this wonderful film. A word about the actors: They are natural, easy going performers (some are also the filmmakers) giving truthful performances which are highly effecting. I want to mention especially: Jay Jadick, Dane Mainella, Bruce Spears and Emily Rea. Director/screenwriters credit goes to: Benjamin R. Davis, Dylan Hansen-Fliedner, Dane Mainella, Jay Jadick. A special nod to Benjamin R. Davis and Dylan Hansen-Fliedner, directors of photography, because the film is so beautiful to view. The producer is Benjamin R. Davis. Hey, it was a group effort and I think that fact enhances the feeling of intimacy and truth. Seen at NewFest, NYC, Oct 24, 2015.
