Maddy's opening scene is great, with her giddy with excitement about starting work.It isn't long before she comes down to earth with a bump but it'd be nice if she sticks it out, proves Roo wrong and makes Casey appreciate her.
The John/Marilyn stuff is also quite interesting, with some nice continuity references to Xavier and a good role for Alf and Roo, as Marilyn digs herself a deeper and deeper hole.
Sadly, a lot of screen time is given over to the drugs Z-plot, which seems to have been cycling through the exact same scenes for weeks now: Josh worries, Andy is annoying, Hannah is very annoying, Casey wants to help, Brax doesn't want Casey to help...It's getting very dull and it's almost reached the point where you just want the dealers to off them all and have done with it.
