With the ubiquity of cellphone video, this Weather Channel series had to happen. It captures all manner of mayhem when Mother Nature pulls a fast one.

Talk about dramatic footage! If you can bear to watch this show, bring a notepad. Forewarned is forearmed.

I'd never even heard of a tree well, let alone considered how to survive one while snowboarding fresh powder in the mountains. But there are plenty of other dilemmas to consider, like:

1) How to survive if, while driving down a highway, you are suddenly blinded by smoke from a semi-trailer on fire?

2) Or, where to go on a cruise ship when 50-foot waves rock the vessel "like a roller coaster that goes on for two and a half days"?

3) And how about knuckle-whitening airplane turbulence? Where's the best place to sit on a jet when "odds are, you aren't going to die -- it just feels like it"?

4) Or, what if it's winter on slick roads and you've got as much control behind the wheel as "a hockey puck on ice"?

Now I know what to do when a dust storm barrels toward my outdoor wedding -- not in Saudi Arabia, Silly. This is Phoenix, AZ!

And what to do if a hurricane unexpectedly changes course, putting my luxury high-rise in its crosshairs.

Yep, the list goes on. And this was just one episode!

This series offers some excellent tips. But who knew there was so much to worry about?
