Although the shot was well rehearsed and planned, during the long Glidecam shot in the beginning of the nudist party scene Oskari Räsänen found a bottle of wine in the kitchen and started to drink it. He also improvised pretty much every line during that scene. It took seven takes to do the Glidecam shot and he drank almost half of the wine while shooting them.
The black and strong "coffee" that Irmeli brings to the table during the conversation near the end of the film was actually mixture of kilju (a home-made alcoholic drink made from sugar, yeast, and water) and liquid salmiakki (salty liquorice). Actors weren't told what they would be drinking and their reactions were real.
Characters smoke Blue Pineapple cigarettes, which is a nod to Quentin Tarantino's Red Apple cigarette brand.
The whiskey characters drink throughout the film was made from Coca-Cola and water.
On the morning of the nudist party scene shoot most of the extras didn't show up. To fill up the empty scene crew members and few of their friends were called in front of the camera. Two sound recordists/boom operators, third camera operator (who already played a role in the opening scene) and the make-up artist were acting while special make-up effects artist was on sound.
