The initial days of story writing for the movie was done by the team members from the comfort of their homes on a Whatsapp group. After a two-week discussion online, the team members from various other fields met to create the story of 'last bus'.
The house where the film was shot belongs to the family of K C Reddy, the first chief minister of State of Mysore. It is located in the village of Kyasamballi in Kolar district of the state of Karnataka in the country India. First Prime Minister of India, Jawaharlal Nehru was a frequent visitor to this place. Also, the place served as summer palace for Former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
The team had a pleasant surprise when they reached Devaramane near Mudigere for shoot. The hills that were supposed to be lush green had turned lavender. A flower called 'Harlu'(Kannada) that blossoms once in 12 years had bloomed, turning the hills blue giving a feel of being in Switzerland.
