The episode starts with Amy officially being one minute late for work. After the squad begins giving theories, Captain Holt approaches and Jake informs him Amy is "a few minutes late." When Amy shows up, she says she's only 70 seconds late, despite nearly a full minute elapsing since she was officially one minute late.
When Charles is dropping stuff off at Gina's desk, the lights in the far background (the area leading to the stairs and evidence room) turn on and off between shots.
As witnesses in the case, Jake and Terry would not be allowed to be in the court room while other witnesses were testifying.
Any new evidence against the defendant would be presented by the prosecution to the defense, and defense would be given plenty of time to prepare for it. The process of Jake testifying on evidence discovered just the previous day is totally impossible in a criminal proceeding.
Captain Holt wears his Commendation breast bar above his World Trade Center Breast Bar. When the WTC bar is worn, it is worn above all other medals, but below the American Flag bar.
The chyron before Jake and Terry are at court says "NY County Courthouse." Brooklyn is in Kings County, not New York County.
Sophia attempts to use Jake's own words against him by saying, "Stuff can do two things." What Jake had originally said was "Stuff can be two things."
