The government lost their defense in the Julia Davis litigation. Daniel Sutherland as the Civil Rights officer for the Department of Homeland Security, with Customs and Border Protection, Immigration Customs Enforcement refused to pay Julia Davis her EEOC court ordered award. Customs and Border Protection Attorneys, Chris Pigeon, Caroline J. Clark, Erik Gentzel and Michelle Kinney went on record stating that Julia Davis should be denied her monetary reward after suffering retaliation because the agency was in ongoing selective and malicious prosecutions against her and she had no civil rights or workplace protections as a vetted federal officer. Judge Daniel Leach advised the DHS, ICE and CBP they were to pay the award or face sanctions.
The CBP attempted to hide the award from Congress in reporting government losses deducted from their fiscal budgets. The CBP changed their NO FEAR website when Julia Davis caught them in making material misrepresentations in statistics, their loss, win ratios.
Daniel Sutherland removed his advocacy for women from his website when his retaliatory, unconstitutional and illegal actions were exposed in denying Julia Davis due process, fair and equal protection under the law. The DHS were forced to pay and they continued years of warrantless surveillance of Julia Davis and her family, two more selective and malicious prosecutions.
Daniel Sutherland declined an on-camera interview and opined he does not want to discuss Julia Davis or her case, despite Sutherland being the Civil Rights officer for the Department of Homeland Security at that time.
Sutherland has since deleted portions of his website as a civil rights advocate for women.
