The Instructor and the Cadets
claudio_carvalho6 March 2024
Reese is training cadets at the police academy since The Machine delivered the number of Dani Silva. He is impressed with her instincts and believes she is not who she seems to be. Shaw and Fusco track her down and watch when she meets with a black man in a car. When Reese is ready to follow her again, Dr. Iris Campbell meets him and wants to talk with Reese, but he asks her to walk with him. Out of the blue, Dani is attacked by armed men in a SUV, and Reese saves her and Dr. Campbell's lives. Soon he learns that Dani is from the Internal Affairs and her handler, Howard, was killed and Dani was framed for his murder. She says that she is investigating her fellow recruits to find a mole and she is sure that he is Ortiz. However, Ortiz has already copied the police files and delivered to Dominic. Reese and Dani team-up to find Ortiz and clean her name. Meanwhile, Samaritan rebuilds part of Shaw's face and Greer assigns Martine Rousseau to find her.

"Point of Origin" is another good episode of "Person of Interest". The plot of the undercover Internal Affairs' officer Dani Silva is great, with many twists. Now Dr. Iris Campbell will certainly understand Reese and release him. The cliffhanger of the conclusion with the showdown of Martine and Shaw will be probably the end of Greer's killer. My vote is nine.

Not the best by a long way

Too much waffle and a much load of stupidity. Adria Arjona is not convincing and just becomes another silly female character, having said that at least she isn't wearing high heels like the norm. Quite frankly a rotten episode.
