Warning: Spoilers
Annie Burch (Steffie Neubauer) is the program director and screener for "Under the Stars" radio talk show out of Gulf Breeze, Florida. Sol Worthington (Bob Glazier ) is the host of the program that generally deals with aliens. Annie provides a skeptical view point. Annie has been losing time. There is a meteor shower and a strange hollow mechanical noise being heard at certain locations in the world. A frantic caller gives us an answer to what is happening that doesn't include diabetes or tinnitus.

The movie had an interesting premise and presentation. The characters didn't appeal to me. We really didn't know much about Annie. A subplot from the Arch Corporation would have been interesting with some decent special effects. The dialogue needed to go up to a higher level.

Guide: F-word. No sex or nudity.

Terrible Acting and No Plot Resolution
ikcaj18 December 2020
Warning: Spoilers
So reading other reviews and the summary, I guess there's supposed to be another part to this? But that's not at all implied in the film I saw.

I'm all for independent, low budget movies and this one had an interesting premise but unfortunately it did not deliver. I can handle bad acting if there's a good plot, and crappy plots if there's decent acting. This was bad on both counts.

For the plot, there's never any real explanation as to what is going on but basically it's just Invasion of the Body Snatchers but at a radio station instead of a military base.

The acting though is what made it nearly unwatchable. They seem to subscribe to the school of thought that the only way to show fear is to hyperventilate. Seriously, the last twenty minutes or so are nothing but the main character wandering around breathing like she just hiked Mt. Everest.

The music did not fit the tone of the film, to the point of being distracting. All of this combined to leave me feeling physically aggravated while watching it. Not how I want a movie to make me feel.

The worst film I have ever watched
carterscd20 September 2020
This film had no real beginning and no ending except at the very last take. at that point where you thought the film was about to start, the end credits started rolling.

Long drawn out painfully boring scenes with no meaning or content.

I have not watched anything this bad since "The Blair Witch Project"

I am about to destroy the DVD just so none of my immediate family make the same mistake I did and put it in the DVD player

Genuinely Terrible
yowilwasup13 January 2021
Genuinely terrible in just about every way a movie can be. Some other reviews talk about an incomplete movie or "waiting for part 2". IMDB's own description refers to a split narrative. The version I watched (on Amazon) was none of those things. I'm assuming "they" edited (shoehorned) in the "blog girl" subplot. All the dialog of the main characters was either out of sync or re-recorded by voice over actors (poorly). The alien-body snatcher premise is what it is. The premise that a late night radio call in show work over time to debunk their caller's alien theories and claims was absurd. Not sure why I watched it to the end. That's it for now... got get a drink of water... I've been weirdly thirsty lately.

I thought this was a Really Good Movie
jswhitmarsh9 October 2021
This is actually a Really Good Movie. I don't understand the low rating. The plot kept teasing me along with a little more info about what was going on and also more questions to be answered. Steffie Neubauer did a great job as one of the lead characters. I am surprised she has not been in more movies.

Note: The version I saw was on YouTube and it only had the parts related to Annie from the radio station.

Waiting for Part 2
kwcman18 December 2020
The acting in this movie is good, although it is a bit hard to follow the script. There is a second half to come on this, which should be showcased at the end of this film so that the viewers will know part 2 is coming, but is not. The female lead is compelling and believable. I suspect budget may be the reason that the whole movie has yet to be produced. I think it has potential and hope the second part is made to solve the riddles posed in the first half.

Not bad

Warning: Spoilers
The average rating for this when I looked was 3.3 but experience has taught me that IMDB rankings don't mean much as do this turned out to be such a time. The story is very good. The cinematography for an Indy is very good. The script is good. The acting is a bit woeful I admit but looking past that overall it's an interesting venture. It's obvious from the start what is going on as the director leaves enough clues but the ending can go one of two ways. Thankfully it wasn't a happy ending. I'm glad I watched through the credits. I normally don't but by doing that it gave a bit of closure. If you like scifi without ray guns etc this may be for you.
