A very well made documentary.

This I really liked. I guess it helps to enjoy this film if one is interested in architecture and especially mid-century buildings. E Stewart Williams was one of the best architects of his day working in California, specifically the Palm Springs area.

So the visuals are mainly of beautiful buildings, and a feast for the eyes. But the story is the life and work of a lovely, modest and immensely talented guy. We see him as a student, a lover, a husband, father, grandfather, and very old widower; still with a twinkle in his eye and a story to tell about his work.

The material chosen and the editing are first rate. I found this film a very satisfying experience.
