If we could rate just the monologue, we'd give Chris Rock the full 10. Most of the rest of the show was okay, but Chris's monologue was the best we'd ever heard.
We don't go to comedy shows much anymore because we're not fans of the foul language that litters the vocab of most comedians, so it was fabulous to be able to enjoy Chris Rock's intelligence and humor without the scuzzy imagery that many in-vogue words bring to mind these days. Plus Chris's comments were just super smart and witty, not mindless and low-brow.
