One of the best episodes so far..

Warning: Spoilers
*Sorry for my bad English*

I have been watching all the episodes of this series till now. According to me, this is one of the finest episodes of season 1. Last episode ended as the nuclear bomb blasted.. In this episode Ronnie Raymond and Dr. Martin Stein are separated, but still they can feel each other. Eiling knows about FIRESTORM, and knows who "The Flash" is and who the Firestorm is. Eiling tries to kill Dr. Stein, but Barry Allen get him back to the STAR labs with help of Ronnie. And finally, Ronnie and Dr. Stein leave Central city, to meet the colleague of Dr. Stein to know about Firestorm abilities. At last, post credits scene reveals that Dr. Wells is the reverse flash.

A Failed Destiny
ThomasDrufke18 February 2015
I think it's becoming more apparent each passing week that the ending to this season of The Flash will be a Flashpoint style event. Their talk this week about a failed destiny reminds me a great deal of that storyline, it will just be interesting to see exactly how they pull off something that catastrophic. This week was another solid episode that again focused on Firestorm. I was glad to see the two sides, Stein and Ronnie, reunite with their loved ones, even if it was temporarily. You have to wonder if and when Ronnie is the only one left will he become a bigger part of this show? Or perhaps a reoccurring role perhaps 5-6 episodes a season?

One of the great things about this week was that I thought the show felt more self aware than it ever has. The problem with a show focused on superpowers is that you tend to separate yourself from the real world, but this week it seemed as though the show realized that, and took a more comedic approach to it all. I loved all of the references to pop culture this week. Whether it be Twilight Zone, Terminator, Back to the Future, or even Friends, I thought the show did a great job in that area. Speaking of Back to the Future, I think Stein's reaction to Barry talking about time travel was definitely a homage to Dr. Emmett Brown from that series.

I also love that some of Barry's mistakes have caught up to him. Finally we see someone noticing Barry taking off his mask and in turn threatening to reveal his identity. I'm glad to see Eiling even find out a way to harm Barry. The needle approach was strange but it definitely worked. Eiling was a compelling villain, but he doesn't stand a chance to Gorilla Grodd! But speaking about his identity, it doesn't seem like the show-runners particularly care about that. Stein and his wife both know now, shouldn't we expect an episode centered around the world finding out about that? Perhaps that's involved with the Flashpoint storyline somehow? So we finally got to see Wells as Reverse Flash in the field, but I'm still confused as to if it was him killing Barry's mother. Where does Eddie fall in this situation? Two straight weeks of his absence. Overall it was a solid episode that teased a bunch but also left a few holes that are as of now unexplainable. But it definitely sucks we have to wait a month before the show returns.

Fantastic episode with outstanding cast

Warning: Spoilers
The best episode so far. Tension, drama, emotions.... Ronnie Raymond and Martin Stein, yet separated, could feel each other's pain. I really appreciate the fact Victor Garber(a charismatic silver fox!)was cast - I daresay this was his most emotional acting in last 5 years. 2 scenes will stay with me forever - first, when Martin was stabbed and Ronnie could feel it, second when Barry opened up to Stein, while debating the possibilities of time travel, about his memories of his Mom being murdered 15 years back. Best acting performances in this episode: Robbie Amell- Ronnie Raymond Victor Garber - Professor Martin Stein Grant Gustin - Barry Allen/Flash.

Ranking/Reviewing every Flash episode: Fallout

Warning: Spoilers
Barry and Ronnie intiltrate the US military base to rescue Martin Stein from General Eiling. Meanwhile, Cisco and Joe further investigate Barry's mom's murder and find some shocking news. The last episode was awesome, this one was phenomenal! Fallout is one of my favorites to this day because it is action packed from start to finish. I think this is the most action packed, fun, and exciting episode to date tbh! Still remains in my Top 25 episodes of the series and is the only one, so far, to reach the level of The Man In the Yellow Suit, it is that good! Two words: ACTION PACKED! WOW! Going under the Man In the Yellow Suit at a 9.8/10! 👏👏👏👏👏👏

Fallout

Warning: Spoilers
This episode deals with the after-effects of all the plots in the previous episode.

Ronnie and Stein separate and return home to their loved ones which made for some good moments. But, they soon realize that they are not as separated as they hoped, while General Eiling tries to get them to gain access to the key to create Firestorm.

Joe tells Barry about the discoveries he and Cisco made in the previous episode, and it was interesting to see Barry struggle with the fact that he is being set up with a task where he is destined to fail.

Iris is starting to suspect the people working at STAR Labs after her boss Mason Bridge shows her some evidences and she recognizes Ronnie as the Burning Man.

More about setting up the pieces
Fluke_Skywalker12 April 2016
Warning: Spoilers
Aptly named "Fallout" picks up right where "The Nuclear Man" left off. Some nice moments here as we get a Ronnie and Cait reunion, and Professor Stein has proved to be a likable addition to the story. We also continue to dig into the murder of Barry's Mom and his own game-changing connection to it. And iris finally comes into the story as something more than just an object of Barry's affection and BFF.

The episode more or less flies, but never really soars. The Cait/Ronnie melodrama doesn't have the bite you'd like because we're only just beginning to know Ronnie. The Barry/two speedsters/future-past Mom murder stuff is exactly what it is; set-up (ironically) for the future.

Solid, workmanlike episode, but nothing more.

Weaker episode marked with just as many plot holes
jonluca-decaro18 February 2015
Warning: Spoilers
Warning: All the spoilers for the episode are below.

I have thoroughly enjoyed The Flash for it's (so far) 14 season run. However, this episode marks a low point in the show for me. The summary of this episode is that Ronnie and Dr. Stein get separated, and then the big bad army guy needs Dr. Stein for his Firestorm program. In it, there is some character progression for Wells and Barry, as well as a few twists and turns.

The biggest flaw with this episode are the plot holes, however. Ronnie and Dr. Stein need to leave the city, for some reason that is just not very well expanded on.

Wells poisons Stein's drink to let the army colonel take him away, yet the Stein remembers none of this.

This episode seems even more ridiculous and far fetched than usual - it asks you to increase your suspension of disbelief to ridiculous levels, and introduces deus ex machina like it is nothing more than a trivial joke.

Overall, this episode is fairly enjoyable, with quite a few new "discoveries" being introduced - from Barry realizing he traveled through time to getting full confirmation that Wells is a metahuman, there is a lot of plot progression.

6/10 - enjoyable but with substantial problems.
