... a spoof? Of course it is, much as the programme makers have gone to great lengths to obscure the fact, and made a pretty good job of it.
It's full of humour very much along the lines of "2012" and "W1A" - so close to perceived reality that it's cringe-worthy and hilarious in equal measures. The narration is very much in the style of the aforementioned "2012", so much so that I could imagine I was listening to David Tennant's voice at time.
It's my new favourite programme, I'm puzzled that there is not more talk about it - maybe people are just not "getting" it?
Watch out for the beer cosy in episode 2, it had me in stitches.
This is a well-crafted and truly funny programme (if you have the appropriate sense of humour). I'm looking forward to the rest of the series.
