Media turns to the White House as Cyrus faces a scandal and decisions must be made by Fitz regarding the recent bombing! Meanwhile, Olivia faces her father head on and Jake, Quinn and Huck deal with the consequences of having been apart of B613. Written by Beverly Robinson
"Scandal" made itself a priority with such an urgency in its storytelling and such delicious plot twists. Throughout the fourth season and especially noticeable in "Where the Sun Don't Shine", "Scandal" has acquired a new sophistication and class that has improved the overall quality of the series. Though I think "Baby Made a Mess" was her best acted episode of the fourth season, Kerry Washington's emotionally diverse performance helps breathe extra spirit into the vibrant, exciting mid-season finale. In addition to performing each of the episode's story lines well, "Where the Sun Don't Shine" smashes its audience with Olivia's divisive romantic partners as she contemplates which man is right for her. The final twist , though, is something that shocked me; danger did not cross even seem like a possibility as Jake and Olivia danced let alone something that happened while Jake was only feet away. "Scandal" has their hooks into my soap opera desired genes good and tight for the rest of season four in 2015.
