Warning: Spoilers
A letdown of an episode, coming to the end of the first season but with nothing much happening at all other than a bit of characterisation. Long-winded dialogue scenes add nothing to the experience.

More junk.

Utter rubbish. The story is getting more and more pathetic and the acting isn't far behind either. The series is becoming farcical as each episode passes. I am confused as to why I am watching this? I reckon that even Chinese people watching this will feel a sense of WTF!!!!?

This did it for me

I've been going through the Marvel Netflix/ABC series and so far I've enjoyed most of them. Iron Fist felt lower quality from the get go, but the beginning was watchable. It gradually got worse and the plot more ridicilous. The characters are less and less believable and the acting is getting worse. The fighting scenes are inadequate and choppy. This episode is the definitely the worst one so far and made stop watching the series. I might pick it up at some point because I wanted to watch all the shows, but this is making me question that choice too. Does the quality overall decrease like this? I hope not....

The most unbelievable thing about this episode was ...

Warning: Spoilers
... if Danny is supposed to be the greatest exponent of Chinese martial arts, how is it that he doesn't know his chi can be used to heal the poisoned Colleen? It's even more unbelievable than the fight in the previous episode, where Danny - an expert in Chinese martial arts - didn't recognise drunken boxing style (heck, any Jackie Chan fan would know about that).

The writers of this show (and to be fair, of the original comics) don't appear to have done even the most cursory research on Chinese martial arts, Japanese martial arts, and the differences between them.

I despair, sometimes, I really do ...
