Continuing The Conversation...

Warning: Spoilers
When Henry didn't die in the previous episode (and the one before that, if memory serves me right) I wondered what was going on with the writers but, this episode was very suspenseful! First, I'm a little shocked Henry did not recognize his stalker's voice but I get that it helped make this episode so great as nearly all the scenes, starting with Jo discovering Henry's pocket watch, built the tension to the very end. However, my other problem is Clark -how did Lewis manage to have him go to the antiques shop? The fight that ensued felt realistic although I'm still not used to Henry's (in my mortal mind, illogical) fear of dying. Hopefully, Henry will confide in Jo soon(ish) because Adam is looking forward to continuing the conversation... (Certainly after this episode it's a shame this show wasn't continued for another season.)

Warning: Spoilers
A psychopath in a hospital is the mysterious Adam. Of course not. He is too old, too experienced to be that. But our main character doesn't notice that and still fell into his trap. Come home after you confront a psychopath? who the hell would do that? According to other cop stories, cop will ask you do you know someone you can trust, then suggest you go to that person house. Never go back to your house!!!

Back on track!

Warning: Spoilers
I checked every episode of Forever, it is somehow entertaining, but I was ready to give up watching it.

The reason? Well...They writers seems to forgot the "Immortality" part of the show. Most of the episodes were basically Sherlock-ish and the immortal part was there only for some flashbacks.

To tell you the truth, I don't really care about the "every week's murder". I want (intelligent if possible) answers about the origin of Henry's gift/curse and more about the identity of the mystery 2000 (very convenient number indeed) y.o. man.

In Skinny Dipper (#1.11), we actually get to see him in person. There aren't any actual answers but the show just got more intriguing, and my interest is renewed. I really hope that next episode will progress the myth and not just be another "procedural" episode.

There are some "plot holes" but overall is a good episode. A "back on track" episode.

P.S. In my original review and in later posts I was supporting the many similarities with Highlander. Well, the movie and the 2 main actors of Highlander are mentioned prominently so any objections about the connection between the movie and this series can go and disappear ...forever.
