The Harlem street knows that there is a hero with the name Luke cage in this episode ,We finally got to see Night Nurse (Rosario Dawson).In this episode a memorial is being held for 'POP' and Cottonmouth is trying to fill his pockets(Since he is nearing Bankruptcy)by bullying the people of Harlem.But Luke cage thwarts his plans and confronts him .Cottonmouth knows about the abilities that Luke possess and also Shades now is aware that Luke Cage is Carl Lucas .Also in this episode Night Nurse shares her experience with her mother regarding enhanced people and how she wants to continue to help them.The ending eulogy of Luke really gives the people of Harlem a hope and they see him as a hero .Overall this episode gave us some good scenes and is slowly moving into an interesting territory.It would be interesting to see how Diamondback will show up ,They are really teasing him with much hype.Now that night nurse is on the show it would be interesting to see how she will be weaved into the plot.The episode had some good scenes the scene where Luke cage confronts Cottonmouth in his pub and the scene of Pop's Memorial stand out as the best .

my over all exposure to Luke cage is mostly in Alias,pulse(I love Ben Ulrich in that series to),new avengers and few other comic books(notably classic Luke vs spidey from the late sixties) .From what I've read and seen in those comic book and games this episode establishes it pretty solidly about the character

This episode begins with cotton mouth trying establish the fact who is the boss after the events of Who's Gonna Take the Weight?.his goons starts to rattle Harlem and starts to call Luke cage out .Luke who is getting ready for pop's wake hears the news acts in an old fashioned manner which the thugs can understand and also trying to prevent people from falling into darkness

this episode shows the true effects of people when they are pushed into a corner.it's not just about common citizens of harlem this is also about cotton mouth to who pushed into corner by Luke .how Luke tries to push them outside this darkness

A better episode here, one that focuses more on the action and the clash of two vibrant personalities. The presence of criminality and its impact on the innocent. Cage is becoming a likeable character at this point and Cottonmouth continues to impress.
