  Tinny Doyle : We've got to figure out a way to get Jake and Leslie out of the situation that they're in which means you need to get better.

  [She hugs Des] 

  Des Courtney : [Wincing in pain!]  Ow, my everything.

  Des Courtney : [Wincing in pain again]  Ow, okay, ow! You can't do that.

  Tinny Doyle : Sorry. Back to bed?

  [Tinny gently nudges Des back to bed] 

  Des Courtney : Okay.

• Des Courtney : [Sees Jake dressed in hospital garb]  NURSE! I'M SICKER THAN I THOUGHT! NURSE!

  [Jake slaps him] 

  Des Courtney : Ow!

  Jake Doyle : Des, it's me. And we don't want anybody to know that I'm here right?

  Des Courtney : Yes.

  [Drops Des' tablet at the foot of his bed] 

  Des Courtney : Ow!

  Jake Doyle : I need you to tap into the Police Database and see where Clarke's cell phone is.

  Malachy Doyle : [calling from a pay phone]  Put Jake on!

  Des Courtney : Oh hey, thanks for calling me and asking me how I am.

  Malachy Doyle : Put Jake on!

  Jake Doyle : What the hell happened to you?

  Malachy Doyle : Rhodes grabbed me from the house.

  Jake Doyle : How did you escape from them?

  Malachy Doyle : I have my ways.

  Jake Doyle : Okay, we need to find Clarke's phone.

  Des Courtney : Clarke must have had his phone on him when he died. It must be in the court records.

  Jake Doyle : Dad, Clarke's cell phone is at the courthouse.

  Malachy Doyle : Okay, I'll meet you there.

  Des Courtney : Oh good, I'll come too. Let's go.

  [Des gets his coat but Jake grabs it from Des and throws it on the chair. Des grabs his coat again and runs out after Jake in his hospital gown] 

• Jake Doyle : [as Des is pointing a laser beam at two security cameras in the courthouse]  Nice work.

  Des Courtney : Thank you.

  [short pause] 

  Des Courtney : It's drafty in here. I really didn't think this through. I'm basically wearing a dress.

  Jake Doyle : Well, at least you've got the legs to pull it off.

  Des Courtney : Thank you. That's the nicest thing you ever said to me.

• Jake Doyle : [Hears his phone ringing]  Yeah?

  [Jake hands his phone off to Des] 

  Des Courtney : [Des answers]  Hello?

  Malachy Doyle : You've got minutes.

  Des Courtney : Okay? Do you have any jeans or slacks or any pants?

  Jake Doyle : Tell him we need a distraction.

  Des Courtney : Jake says...

  Malachy Doyle : I heard him.

  [Really angry Mal Tackles Walter to the ground] 

  Malachy Doyle : ERRR!

  Jake Doyle : [He finds Mayor William Clarke's phone in an evidence box]  I've got it.

  Walter McLean : Malachy? I know you're really, really drunk right now and I know that you're really, really upset and I get that but I should be drunk with you. He's my best friend.

• Des Courtney : [Answering his phone in a very slinky-sounding voice]  Nikki? Miss me huh? I can't say that I blame you. How are things?

  Jake Doyle : [Chortling under his breath]  Des it's me. And I'm glad that you're feeling better. I really am.

  Des Courtney : Oh!

  [He puts the phone in front of Tinny so she can talk to Jake] 

  Tinny Doyle : Jake? Are you okay?

  Jake Doyle : Yeah, I'm fine. Des, we need you to look up a name for us.

  Leslie Bennett : Thomas Plasket.

  Des Courtney : Thomas Plasket? I saw him right before I got the crap pounded out of me. He was dating an escort. I can send you the photos that I took on the phone that you're using.

  Jake Doyle : Are the bikers blackmailing him? Why?

  Des Courtney : I dunno. Whatever, Clarke had on him wouldn't stick.

  Leslie Bennett : Tinny? Where can we find him now?

  Tinny Doyle : He's at the Garden Party at Government House. He'll be right there.

  Jake Doyle : Okay, get Dad to meet us there. He's not answering his phone.

  Tinny Doyle : You bet.

• Tinny Doyle : [as she walks into Des' hospital room]  How are you feeling?

  Des Courtney : Like some really mean, mean people just beat the friggen poop out of me.

  Tinny Doyle : That's because they did.

• Malachy Doyle : Now, let's get this show on the road.

  Des Courtney : [panicked]  Jake I forgot my lines.

  Jake Doyle : Calm down. All you have to say is I do.

  Des Courtney : I do.

  Jake Doyle : Not to me, to her. Now get over here.

  [Jake smiles at Leslie as she carries his son down the aisle then Rose carries his daughter down the aisle. Malachy and Kathleen walk Tinny down the aisle and up towards the front] 

  Jake Doyle : Go get her!

  Des Courtney : Okay.

  Officiant : [as Des offers Tinny his arm and brings her right up to the front of the Officiant he whispers]  You can kiss her now if you want.

  Des Courtney : I can.

  [Des and Tinny kiss] 

• Des Courtney : What is it? What's going on? What's happening?

  Rose Miller : Have you heard from Malachy?

  Kathleen Doyle : We've been trying to reach him all day.

  Des Courtney : Call Jake. He has Nikki's cell.

  Rose Miller : Okay.

  Jake Doyle : [answers the phone]  Yeah?

  Kathleen Doyle : Dad's missing.

  Jake Doyle : Missing? What do you mean missing? When was the last time you heard from him?

  Rose Miller : Last night. He's in trouble. Trust me. I can feel it.

  Jake Doyle : Rhodes must have him. I'll call you back.

• Tinny Doyle : [as Des spots her talking to a colleague. He walks up to her]  Hi. We need to talk.

  Des Courtney : I'm sorry for leaving the hospital but Jake needed me and I was helping him out.

  Tinny Doyle : [She shows him the ring]  I found this.

  Des Courtney : Oh, you found it. I thought I had lost it.

  Tinny Doyle : I was shocked. Surprised actually.

  Des Courtney : This puppy is going on e-Bay I could really use the money.

  Tinny Doyle : What?

  Des Courtney : Finn gave it to me in lieu of payment for some work that I did for him. I was going to surprise Malachy with it.

  Tinny Doyle : Oh? I'm an idiot.

  Des Courtney : You didn't think that I was going to propose to you, did you? Like you and me. Marriage and stuff because you broke up with me.

  Tinny Doyle : No, because that would be stupid.

  Des Courtney : I'm so confused.

  Tinny Doyle : I know.

  [Hesitating] 

  Tinny Doyle : I don't want you to propose to me.

  Des Courtney : What are you doing to my head? You know I can't read more than one layer of subtext at a time.

  Tinny Doyle : I've got to go.

  [she tries to turn and walk away from him] 

  Des Courtney : No, listen I would cut off all of my limbs if it meant that I could be with you.

  Tinny Doyle : That's really weird.

  Des Courtney : I won't obviously.

  Tinny Doyle : Maybe this is how we're meant to be. If we're meant to be together then we'll know but right now I don't know anything.

  [She kisses him] 

  Tinny Doyle : I'm sorry.
