Alright! I've watched thru Season 1 before so this is my 2nd viewing of it and I'm likely to be much more critical than I was when I first watched. But here we go....
Humans is a show I guess made for Amazon?
We being with an English? family. Starting out by purchasing a brand new synthetic. An android programmed to do 'all your basic housework'. Woooo and boy is she hawt!!! And he's bonded to JOE AS HER PRIMARY USER!!! THAT'S ALSO HAWT!

+1 Star for Joe checking out his brand new synth's a$$, as they are leaving the Synth Shop!....
Such a typical male!!! And boy as we travel around the town we see this synths everywhere, doing every little menial task imaginable for their 'masters'. Oh yes, there is no chance at all this system is bound for failure. Oh dear, when Joe's wife Lauren gets home she is highly upset that Joe has purchased this synth to help him around the house. Lol, they name the synth Anita, and Lauren doesn't look please as the synth introduces herself as Anita Hawkins. The synth automatically taking on the family surname. That's funny.
Uh Oh what is this now, a group of synths out in the WOODS. And 'Anita' appears to be one of them. Is this a flashback of some kind?? It appears they are some liberated synths. This guy Leo I guess liberated some synths but some other guys came and took them from Leo. Anita apparently is one of them that got taken. Leo is looking for them so he can 'liberate' them again.
Then we have GEORGE, played by William Hurt. Man William Hurt is so good in one of my other Amazon shows, Goliath. Here he has a synth and the STATE wants to replace it with a newer model. George's synth is an old model. But George he's obviously become attached to this particular synth and doesn't want to give it up. He hides it in his closet until the lady from the STATE goes away.

And then, we have some sort of synth hunter guy. He tracks down synths that are defective in that they are more aware than others, and they try to 'run'.
George's synth malfunctions at the grocery store and strikes a HUMAN. Ouch that's gonna cause a problem for George.
So George is trying to come to terms with putting his own synth out of it's misery. Joe's wife Lauren is trying to come to terms with having this new synth around the House , reading to her kids and doing all the chores around the house and cooking meals for everyone. Leo is trying to come to terms with his synths that are self aware that he's trying to liberate, are being hunted down.
Lauren, she doesn't like it when she finds Anita outside at night looking at the moon. That's not normal synth behavior. Lauren is obviously suspicious of Anita and wants to 'take her back' to the synth shop.
Very good for a first episode, but not perfect. 8/10
