This is another great episode for those who underestimate how smart Eric is. Because while he may not be traditionally book smart his unique way of looking at the world and the people in it gives him a great perspective and allows him to look at things as the observer that no one believes can help. For this episode much like BMW "The War" and "Seven The Hard Way" It ends up being Eric who fixes things even using the same advice to repair the rift between friends "Lose one friend,Lose all friends, Lose yourself." This insight shows that there is much more to Eric than what people see. I also loved that he brought back his "Plays With Squirrels" personality and that he is a mayor because that says he has people who believe in him and that despite all his early setbacks he is doing something important. In this episode he is able to show all the kids that just because they are all going through their insecure phase that doesn't mean they should turn on each other and that in fact they should lean on each other. What happens at the end of this episode leads to a great arc for Eric that lasts the rest of the series.
