Meeting an executive from his former pro baseball team, Charlie is offered a dream job as their first team therapist, while his ex finally marries a wealthy man, freeing him of alimony. Jordan talks him out of declining because his patients need his help, claiming his compulsive habit of solving all their problems keeps them dependent. Charlie accepts, but the players don't just haze him, none seems no see the point of a therapist. Meanwhile Jordan drowns in work at the prison, due to a release program requiring triple the preparatory release. And Nolan's group is desperate to prevent their problem solver leaving, ready to sabotage him moving, yet physically inept.
