Why have the Rottweiler's had their tails docked?

So someone has entered some trivia that the 2 Rottweilers are the same as season 1 episode 14, and these pups have their tails in tact, they way they are born and what is natural for this breed of dog... so it is a real shame that in this episode it shows them with docked tails. This practice hurts the dogs and has no physical benefit whatsoever, it's an aesthetic thing and I'm upset the producers etc of the show didn't think about this further as it shouldn't be promoted. A real shame. Love this series so much, always will, 10 out of 10, but this is a real sore point for me. Please if reading this, do some research into this. It is never necessary.
