During a robbery in the Kembleford bank branch, Billy Flanders, shady son-in-law of bank manager Samuel Harrogate, is murdered. It looks like an inside job, but rather the accepting Harrogate's arrest, Brown, who feels he was lured to attend, enlists Sid's criminal expertise to prove how it was done while working out possible motives, but their prime suspect isn't afraid to turn on them.
