- TriviaThe giant, violent and child like Aaron Helzinger has appeared in the comics several times under the name Amygdala. The amygdala is a section of the brain that controls emotional response and was removed from Helzinger, resulting in uncontrollable anger
- GoofsAt the end of the episode 2.1 when Bruce was reading the letter from his father he reads, "You have figured out that the entry code is 'Bruce'". Earlier in the episode 2.1 both Bruce and Alfred were trying entry codes systematically and they had already reached the entry codes starting with the #3. On a standard keypad the #2 is pushed for the letters A, B, and C, so they should have already pushed the numbers that represent "BRUCE" or "27823".

[last lines]
Bruce Wayne: [Bruce Wayne finds a letter behind the locked door written by his father, reading] Dear Bruce, these last weeks I begin to feel very mortal, which prompts this note to you. Perhaps I'm being paranoid. I hope so. In any case, if you're reading this, then I'm dead, and you figured out that the entry code is... 'Bruce'. I'm sorry I had to hide this part of my life from you, because this place only exists because of you. Becoming a father made me want to be a better man, and I started asking hard questions about the family business. So here we are.
Bruce Wayne: [Bruce's voice begins to crack with tears, reading] As I write this, you're 12 and a fine, good-hearted boy. So I'm sure you'll be a fine, good-hearted man. But that's all I know. I don't know what happened to me or your mother, or how life has turned out for you. I don't even know how old you are. So I'll resist giving you much fatherly advice. Only this: You can't have both happiness and the truth.
Bruce Wayne: [the camera shows Officer Gordon loading his gun] You have to choose. I beg of you, my son, please choose happiness.
Bruce Wayne: [the camera shows Bruce Wayne hold his head up to Alfred] Unless... unless you feel a calling. A true calling.
Having said that, I think there were more of the Bruce Wayne superiority, "perfectness" which galls me and as you watch you will see what I mean. Also, campyness from the 1960's "Batman" which I loathe and feel is inappropriate for this. I just hate the idea of it descending into ridiculous laugh-fest therefore I gave it a 6.5 and rounded it up to 7
