Two plots in only half an hour. That's a lot of moments.

Jane Wyman plays a psychiatrist who has a popular actor as a patient, dealing with the possibility of memory loss and issues in his relationship. She's also dealing with problems in her marriage with her attorney husband who has a case that he can't seem to handle. It's a bit of a convoluted drama where you really have to pay attention to get all the details to fully understand it. Wyman is very good, but her character is trying to be some sort of superwoman, trying to handle her patients and her personal life, and probably going a bit too far professionally. Just when she thinks that she has time for a cup of tea, more problems arise, and she has to go out of her way once again. Perhaps with her patient's life under control, she can find some time for herself, but she also has to find the strength to grasp what's important. The episode's writing is a bit to psychological and wordy, so it's easy to lose focus and interest. In Wyman's case, there comes that moment where she has to stop seeing problems where there are none.

The shrink

A twenty nine years old actor comes and see a female doctor because he is scared to lose his memory; a real handicap for him, and it's not his main issue? there is also something wrong with his sweetheart. But the female doctor has also some problems with her husband in search of his self esteem. So in this tale, we begin to see a complex scheme between those two characters seeking something that maybe they could provide to each other without being aware of this situation. Jane Wyman is at her place as the female lead role. Nice little drama pulled by Sidney Landfield, the Hollywood vet director, specialized in drama, comedies and musicals and whose best film, and also most known, was something totally "out of his range": HOUND OF THE BASKERVILLE.
