Tagline: "You won't get out alive!" BrinkVision is set to release the '70s styled exploitation horror thriller Lake Nowhere. Filmed over six days, this title is a collection of short films. From "Wolf White" to "Harvest Man," this feature hosts a collection of writers, including: Ryan Scott Fitzgerald, Christopher Phelps and Stephen Phelps. Each of these creators hope to capitalize on the success of the VHS explosion of the past as seen in the film's official trailer. The "Lake Nowhere" segment features a masked maniac. He desires more and more blood. But, a group of friends are not happy to oblige. The slaughter begins next to a desolate lake. Here, events get a little crazy as classic monsters from the past make an appearance. BrinkVision will release a Blu-ray/DVD combo for the film. The distribution date is slated for August 16th. This title will host a few extras:...

It's throwback day here at Quiet Earth. Close on the heels of the announcement that 80s throwback Lake Nowhere is being released in August, it seems appropriate that we share the new trailer for Anna Biller's 60s themed The Love Witch.

We are suckers for hand painted posters here at ScreenAnarchy. Some days it feels like it is a lost art with all the generic photoshop efforst out there. If someone has taken the time to create beautiful works of art then we want to take a moment to admire their handiwork. For instance look at this hand painted poster artist Rain Delmar created for the release of the 80s slasher throwback flick Lake Nowhere. This was created for the U.S. Blu-ray/DVD combo release from Brink Vision on August 16th. It is dandy. Lake Nowhere, the 80s-style slasher horror film that Fangoria called “a little slice of heaven for fans of vintage bloodfests” has unveiled a brand new, hand-painted poster to the celebrate its August 16th...
