'Into The Surf' is a twelve-minute short fiction film concerning Sebastian (Greg Austin, Mr Selfridge), a young man who idolises and lives in the shadow of his charismatic older brother, Daniel (Adam Rojko). Interweaving between past and present, we witness Sebastian's struggle to cope with his brother's deteriorating mental health and the slow breakdown of their relationship. A dark, cinematic coming-of-age film, 'Into The Surf' follows Sebastian's attempt to find his own voice and reconcile his overwhelming feelings of guilt and abandonment. Visually poetic and thematically arresting, it explores matters affecting young people that are all-too-often ignored.
