- TriviaAntoine de Saint-Exupéry took inspiration from Didier Daurat for the character of "Rivière" in his novel "Vol de nuit"("Night flight"), which won the Prix Femina in 1931. Some excerpts of this book are read by Jean Topart in the present film, and Didier Daurat gives his opinion about the character he inspired ("He is too insensitive...", he says).
