Rarely does anything trick us anymore but this ep actually had a twist i didn't see coming.
Has some unnecessary tragic stuff here tho.
This is a Sammy ep and tho Dean is my fave i am perpetually annoyed by how Sam as a character is so boring and that's because he hardly gets any screentime on his own unlike Dean. So seeing him in a more prominent way was good.

This is a balanced episode that acts as a monster of the week while forwarding the Mark of Cain storyline. It is well with the batting average for the series and season. With that said the defining feature of the episode-the magically locked safe-is one of the more gleefully sadistic concepts in the show. The writers get the most out of this premise.
