Film went into production with less than half of the budget. The producers were never able to secure full funding, but were worried that they would never get the film made so they went into production with only a month of pre-production time before hand. Money had to be raised on the side and during production breaks in order to keep the film shooting and to complete post production.
The filmmakers took over an empty warehouse space that was in poor condition and built eight sets within it with very little funds to do so. Being as there was no active security system in place, crew members would stay over night during the course of one month to ensure nobody broke in. The heaters for the unit would have to be shut off during shooting days so as not to interfere with the production audio. Two other business's were on either side of the empty unit, with the thin walls, production would have to pause and wait while shipments came into the other factories.
The original budget for this film was only ten thousand dollars.
Had a shoot schedule of 35 days, spread out over a 1 year period and split into 4 different shooting blocks.
The uniforms of the Suits (Preservers of Peace) were only finished a few hours before the first day of production. They had never been tested or worn by any of the Suit performers until that time.
