OK at best
tonyscottcet14 November 2015
As a long time fan of the Looney Tunes franchise, I was hopeful for Wabbit after the "new" Looney Tunes show was canceled after 2 seasons. That show had our entire family watching again and again and laughing every time. Wabbit, on the other hand, feels hackneyed, uninspired, and disappointing. Not a single laugh from anyone in my house yet.

We will continue to watch, in the hope that it gets better, but this is not a show to engage new viewers, I believe. My son, who has gained a love of all things Looney Tunes from me, isn't even interested in watching further shows.

Maybe the writers just need to grow into the show.

Back to slapstick humour, offers nothing new
bbshockwave15 October 2015
After the really innovative and very funny The Looney Tunes Show, the Wabbit feels, in both art and writing, like a step back to the nostalgic old Looney Tunes shorts. The show has short, 11-minute long episodes, composed of two 5 minute-long shorts. Bugs is back to living in a rabbit hole, often sharing his home with his friend, the oddly not-speaking Squeaks the Squirrel. In appearance, most of the characters got redesigned - frankly, not for the better. They try to harken back to the old Chuck Jones era, but in effect, look more like the 1990's Chuck Jones era of Tom and Jerry, not as Looney Tunes. Plot-wise, pretty much all the shorts have the same setup - random antagonists is being an annoyance to Bugs, usually without a rhyme or reason, and generally being a major troll. Bugs suffers a bit, then he retaliates using his patented tools like disguises, dynamite, and generally fooling his usually not terribly bright opponents to do harm to themselves - The End.

Therein lies the problem - this is the plot of pretty much 90% of the episodes (save for a few special ones like where Bugs has to share his home with an oddly childish-Gossamer-like Bigfoot). Rinse and repeat, and it gets very, very old after the third episode already. Another problem is the nature of the antagonists. While Yosemite Sam (who oddly gained weight) and Wile E. Coyote (now Bugs' snotty know-it-all neighbour) are recurring foes, most of the time the enemies are one-shot and not really interesting characters with very little character development. Often, they feel rather out of place too from the show which is set in the modern world, like oddly cylinder-shaped tiny ninjas, a fox version of Marvel's Black Widow, a polar bear-riding barbarian, or even the Death of Rabbits himself, who has fallen a long way from his truly terrifying appearance in Watership Down. It is odd because even after 13 episodes, there is not sign of other famous Looney Tunes characters - Elmer Fudd, Marvin the Martian, and especially Daffy Duck or Porky Pig. Perhaps they are getting their own shows, but I find that unlikely.

Maybe it's just me, but in this day and age... I find the slapstick is no longer enough to entertain. The Wabbit does not fall into trap of Tom and Jerry, where you eventually start to sympathize with poor Tom when Jerry torments him without provocation, Itchy and Scrathy style - here the villains all get what's coming to them - but that doesn't make the experience feel less empty. I am not saying every funny cartoon needs to be Monty Python levels cerebral, but after a truly unique show like the Looney Tunes Show, I cannot say I find this sort of humour a step back, and at best, just average.

Doesn't quite hit the mark

Big fan of the original Looney Tunes shorts and movies from when I was a kid. Really enjoyed the 2011-2014 Looney Tunes Show when I downloaded episodes for my kids. It's very good. Was hoping that it's successor show would be too. I feel it's not as good as what they were doing. It's trying to be like the originals a bit more I guess. But it's not really that great. I think they should have stuck with the 2011 formula. It's was new, exciting, witty and funny.

Meh...
leumasgoncalvez21 August 2021
I've always been a huge Looney Tunes fan. I love his humor, his slapstick, and his memorable characters. I was always a fan of classic shorts that always made me laugh at the looney tunes jokes. I was excited to see that they would do The Looney Tunes Show which in my opinion was pretty decent. I wish the series had continued with more seasons. This is how in 2015 I realized that they would premiere a new series based on The Looney Tunes called Wabbit. I didn't know what to think, if it was going to be good or was it just going to be average or mediocre. Admittedly, the series has that classic looney tunes feel to it and the characters are still personable as ever. Regarding the animation, I don't think it's as bad as many say, in my point of view the animation is quite good even though it is not so flashy. I really liked the first episodes of the first season by bringing back Bugs Bunny, Yosemite Sam, Wile E. Coyote, The Tazmanian Devil, Foghorn Leghorn, Daffy Duck and Porky Pig. Strangely I only have one problem and that is that despite everything, the art style and the character designs do not fit in the series. At least I think the series improved a bit in season two by bringing most of the classic Warner Bros. Characters into the series.

So it really gives that classic feel to the show, even though I wasn't really comfortable with some things yet. I could still say that the series is meh. It is not exactly bad and of course it may not look like the classic looney tunes because you can feel uncomfortable from time to time with the character designs, but it can still be decently fun.

Just plain awful
nevadabornandbred19 January 2016
I have always been a fan of looney tunes and even "looney tunes show" which i thought was such a good show but they canceled that show in favor of "wabbit" which is such a step down from the looney tunes show

Wabbit is just a unfunny version of bugs bunny that after 10mins of watching i had to turn off in disbelief that they canceled the looney tunes show and replaced it with this

If you are a fan of looney tunes then i would seriously warn you to give this a miss as you will be deeply disappointed that they canceled the other show for this

i would recommend searching online for some old looney tunes or better yet the looney tunes show and just watch that because it was a more funny and such a better cartoon

A bit of an improvement over "The Looney Tunes Show"
Wizard-85 December 2015
I simply did not like the previous attempt to bring Bugs Bunny and the rest of the Looney Tunes gang to the public, which of course was "The Looney Tunes Show". Putting the gang in an (unfunny) sitcom format was a really bad decision, as well as betraying what the characters were like in the original theatrical shorts. When I heard about "Wabbit: A Looney Tunes Production", my hopes were raised slightly, since the show promised to recreate the format of the old theatrical shorts.

It's a good thing my hopes weren't raised too high. Now, I will say that the show is an improvement over "The Looney Tunes Show". It has some chuckles here and there, for one thing. Also, I quite like the background art, which both manages to reference what was in the theatrical shorts while putting a new but appealing spin to it.

However, apart from those things, I'm hard pressed to find praise for the show. The character design is grotesque at times (Yosemite Sam, for one thing, looks almost nothing like what he was in the theatrical shorts.) Also, the show seems to be using the same storyline over and over of Bugs encountering someone who deserves his comeuppance and proceeds to give the person just that. Also, the timing is often off. There were a few shorts on the show that MIGHT have worked had they been directed by people like Chuck Jones, Robert McKimson, or Friz Freleng. But as they are, they play out in an awkward way.

If this show gets renewed for another season, besides the objections I listed in the previous paragraph that I would like to be corrected, I would suggest to the producers tackle the other Looney Tunes characters on the show. Make some Sylvester and Tweety shorts, some Road Runner and Coyote, or any of the other characters. That would help the show not to be so one note and give some badly needed variety. Though to be honest, I've learned not to get my hopes up.

it's not the best, but i appreciate it for trying
sharknadokiller24 December 2015
i have only seen a few episodes of this show, but, for the most part, it was good, it wasn't perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but a pleasant surprise to find effort in a reboot. the writing goes back to old and classic looney tunes, and emulates it very well. the jokes, while not making me burst into laughter, did make me smile and appreciate what went in to what could have just been a lazy cash grab, the animation, while not amazing, does a pretty decent job, although the character designs could have been better. the setups, formulas, and plots are just what you expect. and while i understand other reviewers opinions, i would just like to point out that this show could have been much, MUCH worse, and that while i don't really like it, i do appreciate it.

Worse Than Bad!!! or, As Speedy Gonzales would have said, "¡El Steenko!"
edrybaaudio11 December 2018
Warning: Spoilers
If you really LOVE GREAT CARTOONS, don't bother to waste your time with this GARBAGE. But, if you like lousy character design and mediocre character voices which each aren't even good enough to be called pale imitations of the ORIGINAL high-quality Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies, which were first made FOR Warner Bros. from the 1930's to the early-to-mid 1940's by Leon Schlesinger Productions, then BY Warner Bros., when Schlesinger sold his Studio to Warner Bros. outright, until 1963, when Warner's shut down its animation division, then you have NO TASTE or CLASS, and this crap is for you.

Don't see why there's so much hate
camiacono12 February 2017
Wabbit is a decent show, not bad but could be a better revival for the looney tunes but could have been worse. The slap-stick is funny, it puts Bugs in some situations that could happen in today's world and Bugs acts like he would. The hate I feel comes from that there aren't any of the other looney tunes like Daffy, porky or Pepe le pew, well that's not entirely true I have seen screen-shots with daffy and Foghorn leghorn made a cameo, There are only two recurring Looney tunes in wabbit that is Yosemite Sam and Wile e coyote (some thing coyote is only with the Road runner but he has done one offs with Bugs in the originals), another thing is that the art looks more average and basic for fans liking. I do agree the art could be better but for show with a simple premise it works just fine. As for the lack of beloved characters that is an actually issue, the show could benefit greatly if Bugs was with other character like in the originals. There are one off villain's that aren't really memorable but they do have the grim reaper with bunny ears who is returns time to time and that's pretty funny. squeaks is a rodent Bugs is friends with he really doesn't have anything special about him but he's okay. Bigfoot isn't really funny but I guess they thought it would be interesting to see Bugs in a situation where he's really struggling to come out on top and one or two are fine. The reason I feel That Bugs is the main focus is because they want a new generation of kids to be familiar with the character which from a marketing stand point make sense and when season 2 comes around the other characters likely will return. As for now it's a funny show to watch once in a while.

Faithful to classic Looney Tunes
polyvinylchloride5 October 2015
I didn't like "The Looney Tunes Show". This show is much better. Bugs Bunny easily outsmarts everyone he meets. Lots of fun gags and a good amount of zaniness. I especially like when Bugs is against Yosemite Sam. The drawing style is not bad once you get used to it. The voice acting is great. The foes Bugs meet are interesting characters. I recommend this to people who also enjoyed "Taz-Mania", "Sylvester and Tweety Mysteries" and "Duck Dodgers". I feel this is the best television version of Bugs Bunny.

In short, this is what I was expecting when "The Looney Tunes Show" was announced. I also consider this much better than Disney's new Mickey Mouse shorts.

Tries to copy the original shorts and fails miserable.
jkcains21 February 2016
God awful would be an understatement for this abomination. I could only stomach a few episodes of it due to its horrible attempts at slapstick and its puke worthy character designs.

I am a huge fan of both the Looney Tunes/Merrie Melodies shorts and the sitcom style Looney Tunes Show, which I think gets a little too much hate. At least it tried to be different and stand out from the originals unlike this dreck.

Its first major problem is it's trying very hard to be like the old theatrical shorts and it just wont work. The reason why, for starters, is its focused on ONE character Bugs Bunny. In these five minute long episodes you see the same characters going through same shtick every time. The old shorts had many characters with different "shticks" so you can see something new and someone else in each cartoon. Secondly the slapstick humor just doesn't work as well it used to back in the day especially since it's toned down now. Thirdly Squeaks is an unnecessary character especially since they had an entire library of Looney Tunes characters to go with. He's very annoying and doesn't talk and I find him dreadfully boring.

Let's talk about Bugs Buuny a bit. His design is pretty bad, I would say it's worse than his design in season one of the Looney Tunes Show and that was pretty bad. His attitude and demeanor doesn't scream like Looney Tunes to me and if you're trying to copy the old shorts he has to have at least a similar attitude. Even if you're going with Chuck Jones's Bugs Bunny he still isn't right.

Let's go into some of the other characters. I already told you about Squeaks so lets go to Yosemite Sam. He is BY FAR the worst looking character in this show. Looks nothing like his original design, completely left field with his look. I mean it's hard while watching the show with him in it because his design is just so distracting that I can't even pay attention to what's going on in the show. And oh boy, Wile e Coyote. Yeah, he makes a few appearances, and his character design is not much better than Sam's. They're using the talking "genius" version of Wile e Coyote which I kind of like, they rarely use that version of him in any Looney Tunes cartoons so it was nice to see that. If you can get past his horrible design then he's tolerable, at best.

Let's talk about the length of each episode. They are about five minutes long and offer very little in set-ups and plots. It just doesn't work as a TV show. The animation isn't on par with the old shorts nor is the jokes. They poorly copied the old short's formats and it just doesn't translate well in today's age. Especially since there's no nostalgia factor; there's no good looking background settings; the classical music that we're used to isn't there; and it lacks a lot of the other great characters.

This show is so unbelievable bad. I couldn't, of sound mind, recommend this show for anybody. Fan or not of the Looney Tunes steer clear of this show at all costs. At least until they fix some these issues like making longer episodes, putting in more characters, and giving everyone a face lift. It needs to be its own show instead of copying something it could never be.

"Phoney Tunes" Part 2
OzzyZikeFan105712 December 2018
I'm going to admit that after the backlash of The Looney Tunes Show (2011), I saw a teaser for the show on the classic cartoon channel Boomerang and was excited. All it showed was Bugs Bunny's Rabbit hole, and I could hear were the voice of Bugs and the voice of who I could presume was a knight (considering the latter spoke about a Dragon and even sounded like a knight one would usually hear in cartoons). It wasn't much, but I felt confident that Warner Bros. learned from their mistake and redid everything. On a side note, while I enjoyed/adored the spin-off shows Taz-Mania and Sylvester & Tweety Mysteries (and maybe a little bit of Duck Dodgers to a degree, but otherwise neutral over), it was kind of a bummer to not have Bugs Bunny even make a small cameo, since he's my favorite.

But then came the second trailer. The trailer that introduced their version of Bugs (or so I presumed). I thought that the LTS designs of the characters were bad (and they still are), but on here--it looks like the creators took a butcher knife to the few already-established Looney Tunes characters a second time after being hacked apart from the LTS! WHO ASKED FOR THESE CHARACTERS TO GET SO VISUALLY ALTERED LIKE THAT!?

Granted, while Boomerang played a small teaser of that (still abominable) version of the Looney Tunes, I do admit getting a slight chuckle, or at least a smirk, from a couple jokes. Here are the two I heard:

'Bugs Bunny': (dressed as a getaway man) "Is that it?" 'Yosemite Sam': (yells) "THIS IS THE LIBRARY! (panics, then whispers) Go. Go."

'BB': (hands Sam a costume) 'YS': (from off-screen) "How do I look?" 'BB': (stares back blankly) "...Like a sitting Duck." 'YS': (camera shows him dressed up in a wanted criminal poster costume)

Admittedly, those aren't too bad (me trying to be a fair reviewer), but the jokes fall flat due to the animation and designs. I've mentioned in my LTS review that I acknowledge that old-fashioned animation is both expensive and time-consuming, but it does not mean we don't have the technology to replicate the original designs of the characters from Space Jam or from their pre-2009 shorts they made. Now, I'm not saying the Looney Tunes should go the wayside like A Troll In Central Park, where the animation was decent but had a terrible plot (or no plot, in the case of the latter), but where I'm getting at is that aside from good story-telling and good humor, you need to have good animation to accompany it. In a way, cartoons are like culinary dishes: In order to enjoy something, we need to find it visually consumable--technically speaking, we eat with our eyes before anything else.

That version of the Looney Tunes, much like its 2011 predecessor, does not hit the mark on visual, only leaving giant eyesores.

Terrible
outlandishflamingo12 October 2016
This show puts on a decent first impression. It's the Looney Tunes back at their roots with slapstick shorts. Depending on the episode, there are some actually funny jokes amidst the many cringeworthy attempts at being funny. After watching more than a couple of the sketches, it becomes obvious where this show falls flat. Most of the show is centred around Bugs Bunny and a new addition to the Looney Tunes cast: some lame non-anthropomorphic squirrel. This squirrel is the only Looney Tune that doesn't talk or do anything particularly interesting. Not only does it lack interesting personality, but it lacks any personality at all. It's a generic cartoon squirrel that doesn't add anything to the series. The worst part of the show is how repetitive it is. The writers seem to have found a formula they're happy with. Despite this formula not being particularly funny or interesting, the writers use it as a template for every single sketch. Here's how literally every sketch I've seen went: -Bugs bunny enjoying a peaceful day -Some character (sometimes another looney tune, sometimes a new one) disrupts Bugs' peace -Bugs essentially gets into a fight with them and they both mess with each other until -Either they put their differences aside, or Bugs annoys them until they leave. That's it. That's the whole show.

A great improvement over 'The Looney Tunes Show'
pgasael18 March 2016
Look, docs, I didn't liked 'The Looney Tunes Show'. Critics hated it SO much because of the absent of cartoon gags, the sitcom format, infrequent slapstick and choppy music. This show is better than TLTS.

The production is very good, the brilliant WB Animation executives decided to cancel season 3 of 'The Looney Tunes Show', and come up with something else. They decided to remake the original Bugs Bunny shorts. They chosed 'Wabbit'. You want a better cartoon show that is REALLY better than 'The Looney Tunes Show'? You got it!

The show is ENTIRELY nicely maded, because it has a nostalgic feel for kids who like watching the Bugs Bunny cartoons. The plot is nice, and Bugs is also back to live in a rabbit hole rather than a house with his roommate, Daffy Duck. The return of the squash and stretch genre is a must see, and they decided to remove the funny 'anvil gag', witch is pretty sad, but still, the slapstick is very funny to watch. This maded me laugh ALL the time, and sometimes raising me a smile.

See?! This is HOW they re-boot the Looney Tunes! Putting them in a sitcom format, not good and a really big middle finger. Thanks, Cartoon Network, for returning our slapstick beat-'em-up comedy duo to TV again. I will HIGHLY recommend it, because there is LOONEY about these TUNES! :-D

RESULTS: Animation: 10/10 Slapstick: 9/10 TLTS: 5/10 (It's mediocre to watch! -_-) Character Designs: 7/10 Voices: 10/10 Theme tune: 10/10 Music: 10/10

Total MIXED Bag !
Nomad0079 June 2021
Harkens back to the more initial rough and zany episodes from MANY decades past.

This is not what what your average Looney Tunes viewer would except.

Voices are fine and similar to the prior Looney Tunes show was a few years past. Without checking I would suspect many are the same voice actors.

Animation is fine but kind of rough and unpolished. Character designs are reimagined. Bugs looks off from any version we've ever seen. Porky is NOTHING like we've seen before and looks horrible. Daffy looks okay I guess.

The stories are more like quick simple scripts. Not much effort was put into them. Ones of things about Looney Tunes typically is that it appeals to children as well as adults. There is NOTHING here that appeals to adults.

This latest Looney Tunes just feels like something someone threw together quickly and cheaply. They also seen to know nothing about classic or even recent Looney Tunes, or have no respect for it and just wanted to do something whatever they wanted.

There are a lot of new, never seen before characters that have no real place here. Their visual design and character background are uninspired and just poor quality.

Even the intro to the show is just play unenjoyable.

Attempt at cash grab ?

Stay away.

A great return to form!
spriteshack12 September 2016
I was raised on re-runs of the old Merry Melodies/Looney Tunes cartoons, and frankly the 80's/90's/00's versions of Bugs were just boring and unfunny to me.

At first the drawing style of Wabbit was off-putting, reminded me of Ren & Stimpy a bit, but I think it really gave them a fresh start. If they had continued with the Space Jam style the visual gags they used this time would not pan out.

It is cool to see Bugs in modern situations, although I don't think in 30 years that people will find the pop culture stuff that interesting. Or maybe they will, who knows?

And I'll say it like I see it: NOT missing Daffy or the rest of the gang yet. Daffy had evolved into Cranky Duck and his angry attitude isn't missed. If they started writing him again like they did in the 50's, then maybe I would change my mind.

I watched this with my 4 year old son (about the same age I remember watching the original) and we were both laughing. I don't think I've laughed at a Bugs Bunny cartoon since I was under 10 years old, but this show is that funny. Leave your preconceptions at the door and enjoy it for what it is. I did!

Waste of potential
TheLittleSongbird4 January 2016
As a huge Looney Tunes fan, and as somebody who doesn't care very much for The Looney Tunes Show, there was some initial scepticism. But anything deserves to be judged on its own merits and Wabbit's not an exception.

The good news is that it is a marginal improvement on The Looney Tunes Show, but only just. The not so good news is that in this viewer's book Wabbit has a long way to go before it can be considered a good show, it is early days and could get better but presently it's just not taking off. Rather than living up to any potential it has it wastes it even as a standalone, and anybody who grew up with the classic cartoons are likely to find themselves disappointed.

Starting with Wabbit's good points, the animation is generally improved over that for The Looney Tunes Show, with the exception of some weird and at times grotesque character designs, Yosemite Sam being the worst. The drawing is smoother, the backgrounds more detailed and with a Chuck Jones feel and the colours more vibrant. Apart from, as mentioned, some of the character designs not looking appealing, some like for Bugs adhere closer than The Looney Tunes Show to the classic Looney Tunes Show and also mid-late-career Chuck Jones. The setting doesn't jar anywhere near as much as feared.

Wabbit fares better in its music too. It's not as dynamic, characterful or action-enhancing as the music of the classic Looney Tunes cartoons (which nearly always was one of the best things about Looney Tunes in its prime, apart from in the late 60s where everything pretty much took a nosedive in quality), but it's nonetheless beautifully orchestrated, fun to listen to and lively. The theme tune is also memorable. Oh, and there are no misplaced or cringe-worthy songs here, still trying to erase Elmer's one about grilled cheese sandwiches without much luck.

The voice cast is a talented one, consisting of voice actors who have played the characters for some years and have a lot of experience in voice work (i.e. Maurice LaMarche), and they all do solidly dependable jobs, some in multiple roles. There are a few chuckle worthy moments here, something that I rarely if at all got from The Looney Tunes Show, if never hilarious. It's just that one wishes that this happened on a more consistent level.

Unfortunately, Wabbit's writing needs a lot of work even if the situation comedy like format of The Looney Tunes Show is thankfully gone. The humour is not witty or sharp enough, some amusing moments here and there but also too many stale gags, predictable and at times visually hackneyed slapstick, limp timing and dialogue that is more tired and awkward than witty. On the most part, one does miss the manic physical comedy and big expressions, while there is the trademark wacky energy evident it comes in spades rather than as a whole. Any attempts at depth seem forced and half baked, also often done in a seen-it-all-before way, and any darker parts and the writing for the enemies feel random in placement, jarringly out of place and underdeveloped. It has been said that Wabbit was trying to be more faithful to the original cartoons, but so far this viewer has personally not seen enough of it coming through.

Wabbit is in desperate need of more variety, with presently the stories feeling too repetitive and one-note (on top of being too short in length and erratically paced, more on the limp and padded side), and it really does need more of the Looney Tunes characters (bringing back Daffy and Elmer as foils or friends for Bugs would already make things better) to give the show more of a Looney Tunes feel, at the moment there is just not enough of the ingredients that make the classic cartoons so great. Character writing and development is also a problem, the Looney Tunes characters that have appeared so far may be there but do lack personality and are stripped of what made them so lovable in the first place. One of few exceptions is Wile, who does amuse and is one of the few rootable characters even when more snobbish than usual, but at the same time he is underutilised.

Bugs is too much of a straight man and is too gullible, considering that before he was the one tricking and fooling the other characters. Credit is due giving him a vulnerable and human side, which is appreciated, but it has gone to the extent that Bugs feels out of character. Yosemite Sam on top of being grotesquely animated is completely lacking in fire and humour, and is somewhat too underplayed. What will already make things better are things such as more of Wile, and bringing back other interesting and relatable characters such as Sylvester, Elmer whose chemistry with Bugs would bring some lovely variety and nostalgia and Daffy (one of Looney Tunes' best and funniest characters, as long as he isn't the moronic, insufferable jerk that he was in The Looney Tunes Show, but Wabbit presently is sorely lacking a strong character like him). Additional characters are just as bland, with Squeaks in particular being more irritating, one of those characters you seriously to shout shut up to, than endearing or funny. The bigfoot also is stupid and oafish but with little of the cuteness and the humour isn't strong enough to make him funny, instead he is another character who grates. As the situations are too familiar, the chemistry between the characters doesn't sparkle anywhere near enough and there are too few characters to root for Wabbit feels largely empty too.

Overall, not an awful show but a waste of potential. It has its moments, but needs more variety, more humour, more characters, more of the Looney Tunes energy and spirit and more...well...spark. Subjectively, it is just not clicking with me, sorry. 5/10 Bethany Cox

It is awful like the Looney Tunes Show...
Irishchatter29 May 2016
Warning: Spoilers
I swear, from the moment I began watching episode 1, I knew that it wasn't at all gonna turn out well. They really made a mockery of the designs, but this time with Yosemite Sam, Coyote and Foghorn Leghorn. Yosemite Sam looks like he had been abusing himself over the years, he's more like a raging alcoholic than a small typical outlaw who we knew from childhood. Some of his teeth being missing, looking dirty and his dark red colour does not suit him as a character at all. Such as shame he was let go!

Foghorn looks like a hen than his usual rooster looks. Even Coyote looked as if he dyed his eyebrows grey. He must have been sick of chasing Roadrunner over the years and decide to call it quits with being mute & setting up booby traps.

Honest to god, I honestly don't see a future to this show. Where is Daffy Duck, Elmer Fudd, Lola Bunny and our old Looney Tunes pals when you need em? I don't understand why Cartoon Network are adding in new characters and leaving the old ones out to appear on this. It really isn't fair to long-time looney tunes fans like myself. They really made a very big mistake in airing this on Cartoon Network. I would rather just go back and watch the old Looney Tunes cartoons including Space Jams. They were the only ones that made Looney Tunes the best so far!

Love the show, however, Yosemite Sam's design is just bad.

Warning: Spoilers
I enjoyed season 1.

Note: Season 1 has 52 episodes. Each half-episode is 5 and a half minutes with two segments in a 15 minute block.

Actually with Season 2 the show has been renamed New Looney Tunes. Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Elmer Fudd, Pepe Le Pew, Sylvester, Foghorn Leghorn, and Tweety are all set to appear in their own episodes.

I find Daffy very great. The return of his pre-Chuck Jones personality makes the show good. It's a creative approach that hasn't been retooled in years.

IMDb needs to rename the show. When the new season airs in the US, I bet the ratings will skyrocket.

Awful

I was always a big Looney Tunes fan but this one is just awful. Character design is basically trash and very childish. It just ruins the vibe. Scenario is kind of ok but still: it's unusually childish. Seems like they just threw all the tradition to trash.

The Wabbit is back
amesmonde21 December 2015
Classic bugs returns with a slight (differently drawn) makeover, the show is contemporary, that said, its still set in the woods and desert to name a few locations on occasion. The sitcom style of the recent excellent Looney Tune Show has gone, this returns to banjo playing Bigs, Mac, lions, Leprechauns, Presidents and barbarians. Some episodes including the Internet and mobile phones. It plays on Sam beginning out of time, there's Bugs new addition friend squeaks (who is great) and array of new and classic character return.

It's as funny as ever and captures the wacky, witty sharp Looney Tune style. It's another great brought up to date return, only here this time Bugs solely takes centre stage. The Wabbit is back!
