Memories of the Maestro: The Cast and Crew Reminisce About Lucio Fulci (2010)
*** (out of 4)
Of all the new featurettes on Blue Underground's Special Edition of Lucio Fulci's CITY OF THE LIVING DEAD, this here is perhaps the most interesting because it interviews some of the people that we really haven't heard too much from in the past. Catriona MacColl and Michele Soavi are here talking as they have been on previous releases but we also get to hear from the likes of Carlo DeMejo, Adelaide Aste, Fabrizio Jovine, Luca Venantini and several others. This here clocks in at around 22-minutes and it's pretty fascinating because we get to catch up with some of the lesser-known people in the movie. Several of the people interviewed here only appear in the film for a couple minutes but it's still interesting to hear from them. Basically everyone tells their most memorable moment working with the Italian director who was known to have a temper at times. Some of the stories are hilarious, some are bittersweet and some are just 100% pure Fulci. Fans of the director will certain be entertained.
