don't take this the wrong way

Warning: Spoilers
the thing that works most for me in "Haven" are the characters, who redeem the entire series of its many flaws, and keeping it magic.

many times before did i roll my eyes in front of huge holes in the script, but this episode made me wonder whether i could even make it to the season finale, which isn't a lot - only a few episodes away.

hey, i almost popped "a trouble" watching this one, with its plethora of irrational reasoning and ridiculous conversations. a really bad trip.

but then i checked, and that's the only "Haven" episode written by "speed weed". i will watch on, so thank you IMDb.

Horribly written
RockyMtnVideo7 August 2022
I love Haven, but this episode seems to have been written by a ten-year old. There are so many idiotic moments, but I'll just chose one. When two people are sent to save someone stuck in a serious, time-sensitive, deadly situation, they take on their task with NO sense of urgency, whatsoever. Do they run? NO! Do they stay focused on the problem? NO! They just casually wander along, chit-chatting with each other, like they don't have a care in the world.

One could potentially blame that on the director, but there were numerous other idiotic situations in this episode, that follow similar, ridiculous plot lines. It was extremely poor, and disappointing writing. Someone in the production team should have "cleaned up" this mess.

More Season 5 junk...

This episode, like many episodes from Season Five, belongs at the bottom of the barrel in my opinion. It's just absolute garbage. It's as if people were writing this season knowing it was the last and couldn't even give anything more than 1% effort.

The storyline is all over the place, the characters act in ways atypical to the way they acted in the past, and everything is so predictable. I don't think the people involved with making this show even cared if the people watching would even like it. They really should take into account people who still watched the show by this point expected it to still be watchable.

I would rate this season zero stars if I could. Season five is worth skipping.
