Good cause, solid promo video

"The Edison Language Academy" is a 6-minute documentary short film from last year and pretty much exactly what you would expect from a movie with this name. Honestly, without successful actor Andrew Lauer writing and directing here and Academy Award winner Sidney Poitier narrating (first time he is in film since 2001), this would probably not even considered a film. I am not entirely sure, but the cast includes Maya Lauer, so I guess the filmmaker's daughter was/is in the Edison Language Academy and this is why he took on that project here. It is a decent video for advertising the school if you plan to send your kids there, but beyond that there really isn't much cinematic value in this one. At such a short runtime it is okay, but honestly it is only worth the watch for huge Sidney Poitier fans as this is very possibly his final project.
