Nice try but no for me

I am guess that this film had such a low budget, they could only afford the kraft services and Carmine from Lavern and Shirley.

The acting wasn't bad if this was a church play, but I would suggest watching a You Tube video on how to act for the camera and how to direct a camera for that cinematic shot and not act for the stage.

I'm guessing the cast was made up of local church volunteers rather than putting out a casting call for semi-professional actors.

I do applaud that this is a Christian film and they made it to give the gospel and share a testimony but if its poorly done then who will watch it beside a few festival judges and church members with a handful of close friends and family.

I accredit the actor Levin playing two roles, that took a bit of study

Hey, I made a dozen of so bad films too. The goal is to learn and get better. So keep going, study You tube( I did) practice making shorts. Watch more films ( Not just Christian) watch academy award films with the sound off and ask questions on why the camera moves a certain way or why its placed where it is. Watch horrible films , become a critic and know why they are horrible.

Read screenplays and learn to write ( I do) Have friends who will tell you the truth. ( it hurts but you will get better) I pray the Lord blesses you to make more.

Shalom and God bless.

Disappointing

Warning: Spoilers
I rarely ever say something like this, but the acting is really bad in this movie. Not just the leads. It's like everyone in this movie is very aware of the fact that they are performing a role, and you can feel it. They don't lose themselves in their characters. Even as the movie goes on, every line sounds unnatural coming from the lead characters mouths. This drags down the quality of the movie considerably.

I liked the demonstration of jewish faith around the time the 2 twins were born and how excited the family was about having twins. The scenes with the father playing with his young son, teaching him about the differences between judaism and christianity were also nice, although brief.

Some of the conversation in the movie flowed unnaturally, like when the Christian couple started asking Greg about his faith at their wedding. It felt forced, like much of the lines in here, the scriptwriter relied too much on clichés.

The entire movie builds up to the moment where the boys tell their father about their change of faith, and it goes about how you would expect: their father is disappointed in them and makes the entire thing about himself. Then the boys leave, saying he only needs time to get used to the change.

The one good point of the movie was the appearance of the devil haunting one of the main characters. He was the only character who was played with real conviction by his actor. The scenes with him were fascinating, but his storyline never gets a proper conclusion.

Overall, this movie is very amateurish, and even though the basic premise and idea is interesting, it is dragged down by horrible writing and even worse acting. Do not watch it.

Excellent storytelling and acting
This was a true picture of the difficulty of people of the Jewish religion have when the convert to Christianity. The conflicts between the twins and the other members of the family are very realistic. I was inspired by the importance that was put on the sharing of their faith with their family and with total strangers. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the twins were played by the same actors in the adolescent scenes and in the adult scenes. The time switching made me a little dizzy, but other than that I have nothing but good things to say about the movie. Bravo!
