The girl is missing for over a week, police are looking, the whole community is looking, with posters on every telephone pole, and bean lady never turns the girl over to child welfare, or police. The little girl, never thinks, maybe "home" is the place where she and her brother, lived for the past year. Maybe leave a note.as to her location.
A main plot point of the film involves the problems Joey Ibanez faces as a 16-year-old delinquent.He is clearly far older than 16, having appeared 7 years earlier as a police officer in Big Night (2009). His 2018 "ExploreTalent" modeling profile lists his age as 34, making him 32 at of the film's 2016 release date. At one point, his character says he doesn't plan to reach age 30. He was only 7 years younger than T.C. Stallings, who would become his adoptive father.
