We can add another item to the list of products Meta has discontinued in 2022. The standalone Facebook Gaming app, which launched in 2020 to provide a mobile hub for Meta’s live streaming content, will cease operation on October 28.
Gothalion, a streamer who often goes live on Facebook Gaming, shared the news of the app’s demise in a tweet. His post includes a message from Facebook in which the platform says that the Gaming app “will no longer be available” by November. Facebook users who still wish to watch video game streams on their mobile devices will be able to find those broadcasts within the primary Facebook app.

Lego Dimensions‘ Sonic The Hedgehog Level Pack expansion is almost here, and while the marriage of plastic bricks with a lightning-fast hedgehog sounds like a combination less suited to be together than chalk and cheese, think again – it looks like Tt Games has nailed it.
As part of his appearance on Live with YouTube Gaming, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment producer Doug Heder showcased some of the Blue Blur-themed content headed to the crossover extravaganza, including a walkthrough of a 3D Green Hill Zone, complete with Badniks and Sonic’s trademark Spin Dash.
Everything may look a little more ‘square’ than you’d expect of a Sega-created Sonic title, but the level of authenticity is top-notch, even including a recreation of the iconic intro from the original Genesis games.
Lego Dimensions‘ Sonic The Hedgehog Level Pack will be available to buy at retail from November 18 and includes all of the...

Crysis and Ryse: Son Of Rome developer Crytek have announced their latest game, but it’s probably not what you were expecting like, at all. The Climb – a virtual reality game that Crytek says will give players “the rush and thrill of free solo rock climbing” is headed exclusively to Oculus Rift, so if you’re not a fan of Vr but love Crytek games, you’re out of luck, unfortunately.
Judging from the good-looking trailer above, The Climb will do just that when it releases – it’s looking fantastic, even in these early stages. Be warned though, if you’re afraid of heights, this is most definitely not the game for you.
Speaking of what the studio aims to give players with The Climb’s gameplay, Crytek said:
