"Twisted Sister: I Wanna Rock" is a 4.5-minute video by the band in the title for the song in the title. It is from 1984 (actually the year I was born), so this one is already over 3 decades old. Fans of Twisted Sister or Mark Metcalf, who reprises the most known role of his career for that short video, will probably enjoy the hell out of it, but I found it difficult to like it. The song is really nothing special at all and the visual side is only slightly better. As a whole, I must say I found it very forgettable. I have seen better from Twisted Sister and in this one here I found it particularly difficult to take Dee Snider seriously as a rock musician. So yeah while people who say that there is a lot of terrible music in the 2010s are probably right to some extent, they also have to admit that there was a lot of weak stuff back in the 1980s. This is one example and actually it should not be as famous as it is. It is all about searching and finding the music that is right for you. For me personally, this is not it. I give it a thumbs-down. Also the video is not really too funny, but I guess it helps if you have seen 8and liked) Animal House.
