The addresses of the witness and offender in the crime report which Kate examines are given as 72 Made Up Crescent and 10 Fictional Close.
The policewoman in New Mexico has what appears to be an Italian flag patch on her uniform. This is apparently an attempt to approximate the flag of Mexico, which uses the same tricolor as the Italian flag, but with a coat of arms in the center. The costume department apparently believed that Truth or Consequences was in the country of Mexico rather than the American state of New Mexico.
The policewoman from New Mexico has Italian flags on several parts of her uniform.
After the credits the Doctor visits Brockwell Park in London. The location used for recording is not Brockwell Park.
The type of sign used seems to indicate that the car is on an interstate highway, considering the exit number on top and the sign showing a business loop interstate exit up ahead. The road, however, is a two-lane road. If the road were about to hit an at-grade junction, the correct sign would show "JCT" above the sign for the road(s) at the junction. If the sign is supposed to show how close it is to the nearest town, the sign would be a small sign that has one or more town names on it followed by distance.
When Kate arrives in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico, she draws her sidearm from a shoulder holster and pulls back the slide to chamber the first round. Any experienced field agent would have already had one round chambered and ready to fire in case of immediate threat, as her weapon would have been useless until it was chambered. Similarly, when the UNIT assault team approaches the church the team leader fires several rounds into the air to announce their arrival. This is a major safety violation, as those rounds would have to come down somewhere and could potentially injure civilians.
