Exhibited as part of a program of synchronized sound films at the Paris Exhibition of 1900. Despite the novelty of sound (and stencil color in some of the films), the program was not financially successful.
Celine Ruivo, Director of Film Collections at the Cinémateque Française, presented this film at the San Francisco Silent Film Festival in 2013 as an example of the Cinémateque's ongoing project to restore the original Phono-Cinéma-Théâtre program in its entirety.
