Enjoyable episode but it has its flaws...
movieplayer6 March 2020
Warning: Spoilers
First of all, i really did like this third episode from the 'bad batch' arch. It had exciting fight scene's and i really enjoyed the team up with the tribe village and their perspective on the war that the republic brought to them. However, in my opinion this episode had its flaws.

For example, Captain Rex telling Anakin that Echo is in no good condition and "wouldn't be able to walk". Guess what? Couple shots later Echo is balancing over a pipeline across two bases and later even shooting droids. Doesnt make sense to me. The other thing i didnt understand is the way our squad escaped the hostile base. First they don't know how to get out, so they decide to take a risky route to steal a ship that they dont know is 100% there, suddenly when they're trapped and surrounded in the middle of the pipeline they come to the realisition that they can summon up these flying beasts? Why didnt they think of that in the first place? Would have been a lot easier if you ask me!

Besides I dont want to be all negative out here so let me say this, Star Wars: The Clone Wars is Star Wars at its finest. The overall arch in season 7 is super fun and god i love the advanced animations! Im sure season 7 will be the best season we can possibly get!

Solid episode but hope this isn't a glimpse of things to come

Warning: Spoilers
This was a really fun episode and I think we can officially say that the Bad Batch have been a success. The action scenes were great and seeing Anakin dominate in that final battle was beautiful!

However, there is a glaring issue with this episode that I hope doesn't set the path for future episodes in this final season. The issue being the complete removal of a "dark" death scene which, in the unfinished version, occurs right before Anakin and the clones escape Tambor's weapon.

So this season is supposedly going to tackle some big clone wars arcs (eg. order 66), and I hope the just because this is on Disney + that any potential darker/violent scenes don't get removed to appease the younger viewers. Especially when a significant portion of the viewership is 17+ in age.

Just meh. Doesnt live up to the standards of a clone wars episode.

Warning: Spoilers
First of all, 18 minutes? We only have 12 episodes in the season and you give us 3/4 of the usual runtime? In the whole episode where did we get? 18 minutes to get back to their ship? Disappointing. the action in the episode was just ok, same with the bad batch. You can also tell Disney has started Disneyfying the show. They completely removed the scene of tambor disintegrating the poletec. Which is one of the reasons the episode was so short. There is obviously still stuff I like such as the rex and echo reunion and the animation. Overall, I hope the next episode is better, and longer.

Good but not great...
linussundvall-052216 March 2020
The last two episodes have been amazing but this one just fell a little short for me. It was shortened down because of the removal of a pretty long scene. It was pretty good too, disney seem to have cut it out because of violence. Are they serious? If they don't show emotional, dark and violent deaths in order 66 then i'm going to be mad. They are treating this like a kids show! They sure didn't treat The Mandalorian like a kids show so why do that with this? Also this was just kind of a lead up episode to the next one. I hope they add some great scene in the next instead.

But that was just the negatives. There are plenty of positives too! The action in this episode was phenomenal as usual with this new season and we got to see some more action with Anakin too. Hopefully though, next episode will be longer, darker, more emotional and just better overall. I don't want them (disney) to hold back with the dark tone and violence with this LAST season. They will disappoint me and many fans if they do! 8.2/10.

Would have been a 10 if they didn't cut the organic decimator

Overall solid episode with a lot of cool action. Just don't understand why they cut some scenes from the unfinished version

"On the Wings of Keeradaks"
lassegalsgaard28 March 2020
While this is definitely the weakest of the new episodes yet, this new series is still off to a great start with a storyline that is so worth getting invested in. I have praised the clone-focused narrative, and this episode added a lot more to that. The final shot is a great reminder that nothing lasts forever and that there is way more to come in the future, but also a reminder that this is the end of something that has been a great bright spot for "Star Wars" fans ever since it began back in 2008. That is also why I was a little bit taken aback by the weird pacing of this episode. It was filled with a lot of great action sequences, but it almost try to do too much too fast, and didn't give the characters enough time to find each other again after their escape in the beginning. I also thought the bad guys were a little bit too much like they would have been in the prequels, and for some that might not be a bad thing, but I would have liked a little more nuance. I also hope that they get a better hold of the tone, because the episode had some weird humor, but overall, a good episode and something that got me excited for the future.

Well made, if bare-bones, episode
jerbearq28 March 2020
Significantly shorter than the previous two chapters of this arc, this episode is filled to the brim with highly entertaining action, though it doesn't have the story or character development to support it

It was good

It's more fillery than I thought it'd be, but the action and characters kept me invested from beginning to end.

I'm really digging this Bad Batch too. I'm excited to see more then.

The short length didn't bother me so much. This is mostly just filler to the next episode, so why make it longer?

Solid.

The Mission Continues
A_Kind_Of_CineMagic6 October 2020
This episode features a continuation of Anakin and his 'Bad Batch's mission to rescue Echo and bring him back.

This has some fun action and some dark themes of how Echo has been used as part of a machine generating an algorithm to predict strategy.

This could have been better if condensed into a 2 part story without the indigenous people subplot etc but it is a very solid episode with great animation.

My rating: 7.5/10.

Slightly better than S7E2
Sismanski23 May 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This is slightly better than episode 2, but still struggles with various moments where you can't overlook the uncertainty of the established characters. "Oh no, droids, what can we do?", "We already killed plenty of them before with ease, but now we better should run..."

But I want to talk about a minor spoiler here for a second. And for those, who prefer to avoid this, please stop reading here!

There is a moment, where they all try to escape through a whole in the ceiling. And somehow neither the clones, nor the Jedi have an idea how to get up there. Didn't Clone Troopers always had some some kind of grabbling hooks? They used to climb up big mountains countless times, but now they ask how to get up there? And what about Anakin, the Jedi could just use his powers to lift them all up there and then jump up. But no, it's up to the stupid Hulk, who starts throwing them all up and then the Jedi remembers, who is a Jedi with similar super powers, so he jumps up.

On the Wings of Keeradaks
kaden_lewis3 January 2022
Warning: Spoilers
In March of 2021, I decided to watch Star Wars for the first time. I chose to watch it in the timeline order, and watch everything, including the cartoons. I am so happy I did, because with the exception of Star Wars Resistance, they were all amazing. But my favorite is 100% Star Wars: The Clone Wars. It is just amazing. I didn't have my IMDb account at the time, so I couldn't review it. That is why I decided to re watch one of my favorite seasons, season 7, and review it.

The part I really liked about this episode was the crazy amounts of action. Nearly the whole episode was a fight scene, but it spread out over different places. It started where the second episode left off with the Bad Batch fighting the droids, and Rex and Tech trying to get Echo out of the facility. They get out and in an attempt to escape, they needed to walk across a very long balance beam super high up in the sky. The droids blocked them, and they fought them on a balance beam. Tech then recommended using the distress call of the native Keeradaks to tame their flying reptiles. Anakin and the clones fly away and are chased by flying droids and have a very cool battle in the sky. They then get back to the natives village where the final battle of the episode takes place, and it was very entertaining. Literally the entire episode was action packed and filled with multiple crazy ambitious battles. Even though this episode has a 7.8 (at the time of review) I feel it is very underrated. The entire episode is filled with fight scenes, how could you not like that?
