Five years after its first season, the series host was replaced with Justine Shapiro who takes more of a journalistic point of view. The first host was an artist too. This episode is filmed on location in Montgomery County, Maryland where they dig for Josiah Henson's home. He was the inspiration for Uncle Tom's Cabin. Josiah Henson and the underground railroad is explored in depth here. I found this episode to come off strongly for the new season. Many of the regulars from the first season have returned to the three day digs.
