Locations Then and Now (2014)

** 1/2 (out of 4)

This three-minute featurette can be found on the rather rare Blu-ray from Code Red of THE NAIL GUN MASSACRE. Director Terry Lofton plays host as he revisits a few of the locations that were used in the film and shows us how they look today. This includes a scene where a woman is found dead will nails in her but the main location is the grocery store that is used in the film and the one where Lofton let his grandmother act. This scene is pretty notorious today because of how bad it is but it's also helped make the film a cult favorite to many. Lofton talks about the history of the store, which was owned by his grandparents and he also discusses why he left it in the movie. Overall this is a fun featurette if you're a fan of the movie and want to hear Lofton talk about a few of the scenes.
