The first real episode of Talking Tom and Friends is a definite improvement over the pilot. This episode follows Tom and Ben who want to win an app contest, but when Tom electrocutes himself with Bens app, he loses his voice. They just figure out how to win without Toms voice. The plot is kind of simple and boring, but I got to say, this episode gives off a whole new energy than the pilot. It is much more vibrant in animation and is much more charming. Ben and Angela definitely have better voice performances. Hank is still a little iffy, but no terribly bad. The new character, the internet doctor, is also pretty funny. The show is already improving from the pilot episode. Overall, I think I enjoyed this episode a little more than the pilot. It is just so much more enjoyable. The plot is kind of bland, but the character dynamics and charm definitely make up for it
