A stronger and more intriguing story with Mrs King stealing the show.

A few things start to come to light and there is an ironic interview with DCI Read and her husband's lover in attendance.

Michael Maloney generally plays an unsavoury or bad guy type so it's no shock he might be involved in a of this.

River does some entertaining.

Building up nicely for the finale.

Fantastic penultimate episode.

River and co investigate Haider's killing, and are sure that his death is linked to Stevie's. River's placed in an awkward situation, when he begins suspecting Chrissie's husband 'Tom' of some involvement in the case. Chrissie begins to realise that the truth about Stevie's death may be closer to home.

I was really pleased to see two wonderful actresses appear, Adjoa Andoh and the very beautiful Anamaria Marinca. Once again though, it's Eddie Marsan that's making the show for me.

This was fantastic once again, full to the brim with excitement, tension and drama, what a great way to lead into the finale on what's been a fantastic series.

This episode continues the search for Haider's killer. We have been given hints all along that somehow Tom is in the middle of all this. River gets more involved with his counselor. There is an attraction there, but his tunnel vision keeps him from thinking of anyone but Stevie and her untimely death. River tells the story of an old man who used to wave to him when he was a child. The man dies in a violent manner and his being moves in with the young boy; hence, the explanation for the first contact with these spirits. One question we must continue to ask is whether Stevie is really worth all of this angst and intense investigation. A man beats up Ira. He is a Moldovian immigrant. He is possibly the hit man. Anyway, we are heading for the last roundup for this season.
