I remember being introduced to this series by my mum, a really long time ago. She's a Trekkie, a sci-fi fan and since I introduced her to GoT, she introduced me to one of her favourites, Continuum and recognised some actors, so she joined me while I started the ride.
I'm re-watching now, on Netflix. I guess knowing what's going to happen (I quit the original run some episodes before the finale because I just couldn't stand it, I just hated it) do affect my viewership, but at least I don't have high hopes for the writers nor main characters.
This episode had potential. I don't know if it's a problem of absolute lack of communication between the different writers, or if the show is supposed to be an absolute joke. Characters well known for previous betrayals, are being trusted by a character that allegedly cared about their people. And with these characters is all about betrayal, like I'm watching a political show, but worst, at least those have smart moves. Here there's only stupid moves and "magic", yes, because the ones who had never been exposed to certain area of knowledge, are suddenly quite experts. Like if someone told you something quickly you could learn to do a very difficult task you have never seen before, surrounded by strange objects and foreign language. Oh, but someone said a phrase so now you're an expert.
This episode makes me feel I'm really wasting my time and the worst part is that I know I'm wasting it. Because I watched almost all this show, cared about characters, but the bigger betrayal came from the production to their own viewers.
