Enchanting Film
mpgdesign9 January 2020
After watching I felt like someone read me a nice bedtime story and I could easily drift off into a dreamy state. This films bring light into the world and is reminding us of what happens to us when we grow up and stop believing in stories. The elderly grandmother still believes and is meant to be like Wendy from Peter Pan. It's an enchanting film about a child who helps the adults start believing again and brings everyone together. It weaves some fantasy with reality so it works for kids and adults.

Great movie! It definitely is one that Hallmark fans would enjoy. Storyline was good. Loved the characters, especially Abby (Brooklyn Silzer). Can't wait to see more from Joe Crump!

Kept us all captivated through the credits!

"I liked it" and "Amazing" were the comments after watching by my daughters. It kept me awake which for a movie is rare (true story- LOL). Loved this and a family movie is a great understatement. I don't have the words to describe. Do yourself a favor and hit the play button. You won't regret it.

Writer/Director Joe Crump is a filmmaker that has true vision. His movie, "The Storyteller," is a delightful and heartwarming magical journey. This movie with it's stellar cast provides fresh insight to the world of fantasy and reality with a Peter Pan feel. This beautiful movie will enchant viewers with it's memorable music. A joy to watch with friends and family.

Great Movie!

Loved the movie. Also emailed the director to tell him and ask for the reading at the grandmother's graveside. The Irish music as the background music was great. I loved the story line, which shows a family in strife and realistic portrayal solutions to resolve the issues. Mr Griffin's part was superbly acted and he is a very good singer. The cast was well chosen and the story offers a fairy tale addition which adds a bit of mystery - very enjoyable. I give it a raring of 10 PLUS! Best movie I've seen in a long time.

Feel-Good Movie
sef-1818 October 2018
Joe Crump has created a film that combines the magical and the relatable. We meet a cast of characters, particularly Maggie (Samantha Colburn), Jen (Cassidy Mack) and John (James Snyder), who've built various walls between themselves without realizing their importance to each other. Enter Abby (the adorable Brooklyn Rae Silzer), who acts as the conduit who brings them together ... and also (happily) closer to Rosemary (Constance Towers ), who has a surprising connection to young Abby. Distance turns to love before our eyes -- and perhaps makes us think about the folly of our own unnecessary walls.

Awesome- A True Family Movie Indeed!
gorgeousblessed2 November 2018
The characters are real to type - There's something in here for every one in a family-setting. It 's brilliant, sophisticated and great for children and the curious minds, while relaxing for the adults and aged. Not sure if it's a gospel movie, but seems very well thought out and one might use it in comparative studies to teach invaluable lessons about the Truth and faith in God.

Great movie for the whole family

This film is adorable and amazing for children. Abbie is a magical child with a mysterious past.

Her appearance in a damaged family's life filled with secrets and misunderstandings shows the healing effect of art.

I highly recommend watching this movie which has some great role models for children, especially little girls.

Wonderful Movie
docm-3230410 January 2021
We so enjoyed this movie. Don't understand the IMDB rating as every review is 8 or higher...get your together. The little starlet is incredible as was the grandmother, with smiles that light up a room. Good writing, acting and a musical score that was so good. I highly recommend. I has a real magical feel, with no drugs, swearing or other associated nonsense...just a good clean walk through a child's wonderland.

Totally captivating and truly Magical

Well taking a breath - maybe I'll never breathe out the same - being in that moment - finding the calm in the chaos - the beauty in the ashes - the fairies in the darkness. This work of beauty unfolds in a quiet gentle beauty and joy.

Brooklyn Rae Silzer is absolutely stunning as Abby and the entire cast slips into character and into the story effortlessly. Beautiful flawless family entertainment.
