- TriviaThe scenes of Negan's (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) compound were filmed at a decommissioned telecommunications facility. It was allegedly bought by a private investor who used it to search for extraterrestrial life.
- GoofsAt the end, when Morgan is welding, he is using a process called metal inert gas welding (MIG). He is missing the nozzle from his weld gun, this is a crucial component to that process. Without it, the weld would not be covered in an inert gas and would be too weak to be any good.

We began with another relatively peaceful song as a companion piece to Carol acting like a mom delivering cookies to the people of Alexandria. In large part, this was Carol's episode. She dealt with the guilt of not telling Rick about Morgan keeping one of the Wolves alive and the consequences that followed. I'd like to think this was a direct response to her being exiled way back in Season 4. She knows how it felt to be outcast by people she has known for so long so I think she knows exactly what Morgan is going through. Her overprotectiveness turned out to have tragic consequences as she and Maggie were kidnapped by the end of the episode due to Carol's lack of concentration.
I'm really interested to see just how far this Morgan and Rick conflict will go this season as it seems like Morgan is a prime candidate to be a culprit to Negan's baseball bat by the end of the season, but who knows. It's great to see that Rick is once again taking everyone's views into account by holding a meeting at the church, but it's not like he was ever going to anything but go through with the plans.
Of course, everyone had to give their goodbyes to the people who were staying in Alexandria. Tara and Denise shared a moment, which was far different from the harsh scene between Abraham and Rosita. "I thought you were the only woman left in the world, well, you're not", Dang Abraham. Tara also had a hug with Glenn near the end which also seemed to send us a signal saying that was the last time they would see each other. Perhaps Tara could die? I hardly believe the producers would put Glenn through another dead/not dead scenario yet again.
Speaking of Glenn, he joined the club of killing people in cold blood as most of the team also joined in on the killing of Negan's men. It's weird to think that some of the crew hadn't killed people yet and Glenn was one of them. This season has had plenty of firsts, and I don't think these 'murders' will be the last time we see the team do some crazy stuff this season. Of course, those brutal scenes were nicely complemented by us seeing the pictures of what some of Negan's people are capable of, so perhaps it's justified?
It would be wrong for me not to mention the fantastic score by Bear McCreary this week throughout the raid scene as well as the direction and choreography. It's just another extremely well handled episode for the latter half of season 6. This season is shaping up nicely.
