So far this series we have seen Carol showing what happens when you are down and out in Hollywood. No job, no money to pay her maid or even get dope. She is addicted to daytime tv and Beverley tries to get her to shape up and sue the network.
However a misdialled phone call to Lapidus means he comes round to check up on her and before long one thing leads to another. In a way it is nice to see both of them together, maybe deep down Lapidus has genuine feelings for her. Then again you can never tell with Hollywood executives!
Matt is getting new sitcom offers and tries out some of the proposals to Sean. Matt wants Beverly and Sean to write for any new show he is involved in. Matt promises to be the 500 lb gorilla who will protect them. This spurs both of them to tell Tim where to stick his unfunny ideas.
Not the funniest episode of the series but at least some development for Sean and Beverley who seemed bored of Tim as the viewers are. It was amusing to see Matt try to explain the aftermath of his live feed incident to his kids.
